Rising temperatures look set to be a welcome feature of summer for Victorian based solar technology and innovation specialist Clear Solar. The company has just released a new solar powered air conditioning range that capitalises on hot days.
Coolerado air conditioners are designed to be more environmentally friendly than traditional air conditioners, utilising either solar or mains power, water and natural energy. A spokesperson for the company confirmed the units, providing affordable 100 per cent fresh air cooling, were suitable for domestic, commercial or industrial environments.
The units were also designed to use around one tenth of the electricity of a standard air conditioner, thereby significantly reducing cooling costs.
"The 100 per cent fresh air circulated by the units also promises health and well being benefits compared to the recycled air used by many standard air conditioners."
Coolerado units included five year warranty, cooling capacity that increased as temperatures rose, easy maintenance, low water use for cool, dry, conditioned air, and variable speed settings.
Clear Solar will be showcasing the Coolerado range, along with its other solar energy based product lines, at The Master Builders' Building & Home Improvement Expo from 9-11 July 2010 at Melbourne Exhibition Centre.
