Australian trademarked boarding and panelling brand Ezy-Lite is poised to showcase its range of superior, lightweight and eco-friendly products at the upcoming Building & Home Improvement Expo next month.
The Thomastown (Victoria) based company's Ezy-Lite board or panel can be used on both external and internal wall lining, filling a gap in the market for cost-effective, superior product that can be used in a wide range of applications. Ezy-Lite can be deployed in the same way as plasterboard or cement sheeting, but with improved characteristics; the product is waterproof, fireproof, sound insulating, termite proof and mould and mildew resistant, while also offering hygiene benefits.
Ezy-Lite panels can be used as fire proof material in walls and ceilings, in offices apartment complexes, residential developments, hotels, theatres, restaurants, airports, schools, hospitals and stadiums. Applicable as an underlay for building, movable partitions and sound absorption elements, the product also weighs half that of a fibre cement sheet and provides a superior finish without cracks in joints.
Furthermore, Ezy-Lite offers significant environmental benefits, using recycled polystyrene, which has an insulation R value of R-2.5 for a 50mm foam panel, with the board offering R-1.2. Using Ezy-Lite panel and board, households can reduce up to 75 per cent of their energy loss, resulting in significant heating and cooling savings.
Ezy-Lite will be showcased on stand M29 at the Building & Home Improvement Expo from 9-11 July at Melbourne Exhibition Centre.
